30th Anniversary: AGS class of 95 rolls out the drums

The 1995 set of Anglican Grammar School, Okenla Ifo is set to celebrate three decades of passing out from the prestigious high school.

According to Prince Adeniyi Adesanmi, the chairman of 95 set, the celebration will start from Friday June 27, until Sunday June 29.

Members of the 95set will kick off the activities on Friday by attending a mock classroom with one of their former teachers dressed in the school uniform of Yellow shirt and Navy blue shorts.

The event will be followed by a symposium with the present students of the school and Jumat service at the Ifo Central mosque just before the group goes on street dancing in and around Ifo with a music band.

Day 1, according to Adeniyi will be rounded off with a GalaNight at the Olumo Hall.

On Saturday 28th June. The group holds the anniversary party at the school hall where members come with family members.

The anniversary is expected to close on Sunday 29th June, with a Thanksgiving service at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral, Okenla, Ifo.

The 1995 set of AGS operates under the umbrella body Anglican Grammar School Old Students Association, AGSOSA under the leadership of President, Funsho Onipede.

Former Ogun State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo is the Chairman of Board of Trustees.
