Lagos is set to host one of its most anticipated year-end Christian gatherings as the Asher Praise Concert returns for its third edition on December 27, 2025, at the Solution Arena, Onipanu, along Ikorodu Road. This year’s theme, “THE BREAKING – Court of Repentance,” signals a shift toward deeper reflection, repentance, and spiritual awakening among believers.

Since its inception, the Asher Praise the brain child of Minister Adegoke Adedamola has positioned itself as more than a musical experience—it has become a movement for revival, community strengthening, and cultural worship expression. Organisers say this third edition is expected to be the most spiritually intense yet.

One of the key attractions of the event is its diverse lineup of gospel ministers known for shaping contemporary worship across Nigeria and beyond. The 2025 edition features celebrated voices such as Sunmisola Agbebi-Okeleye, whose rise in modern worship has drawn a strong youth following, and Favour Ojo, noted for her soft, angelic tone. Also billed to minister are Olayinka Erinle, known for his deep, immersive worship sessions, and Tunde Ara, whose indigenous spiritual sounds have carved a unique place in Nigerian gospel music.

Adding a youthful blend to the night is Joanna Obasi, who channels eastern cultural worship expressions, and Naomi Odukoya, a budding minister the organisers describe as “one to watch” for her purity of worship. The evening will also feature the energetic praise ministry of Tosin Bee, ensuring that the worship experience transitions seamlessly from solemn reflection to exuberant celebration.

Beyond music, the Asher Praise Concert has maintained a tradition of compassion-driven outreach. At this year’s edition, organisers will support 200 widows through the annual “DO YOU LOVE ME?” initiative, powered by the Rose in the Desert Foundation.

The outreach, now a staple of the concert, provides food items, relief materials, and emotional support to vulnerable women during the festive season. According to the organisers, the initiative reflects the heart of Christ and reinforces the concert’s purpose beyond the stage.

Organisers reveal that this year’s edition carries a special instruction: a dedicated prayer session for kingdom financiers—individuals committed to using their resources to advance the work of God. They describe this call as a response to “a divine nudge” received during preparations for the event.

Another notable aspect of the 2025 lineup is the strong representation of female ministers, a decision the organisers say emerged from “a posture of humility and obedience to divine leading.” They believe this year’s emphasis will bring a prophetic dimension to the night

The concert will feature a sermon from Pastor Victor Oba, who is expected to deliver a message rooted in the promises of the Book of Joel—particularly the call to repentance and restoration.

For many participants, the combination of worship, word, cultural music expression, and humanitarian outreach has made the Asher Praise Concert an annual reference point for year-end spiritual
