Bayelsa Gov. Election: Is Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy On APC Coming To Pass?

The governorship election in Bayelsa will be coming up next month but it appears the ruling party, PDP, will be going into the election with no serious opposition.

The most prominent opposition against PDP’s Douye Diri is the candidate of the APC, Timipre Sylva who was disqualified from participating in the election yesterday because his nomination isn’t in tandem with the constitution of Nigeria.

Although the APC said the judgment will be appealed against in the court, there is every possibility that Sylva will not be returned as a candidate to participate in the election which is barely one month away.

On this backdrop, it’s important to refer to the prophecy of Primate Ayodele about the election which he shared before APC held its governorship primaries some months back.

In the prophecy video which was shared on the 16th Of April 2023, Primate Ayodele revealed that he doesn’t see David Lyon who was an APC contestant then, winning the election primaries. He further stated that if the APC gives Timipre Sylva the ticket, it will be an easy win for the PDP. He stated that David Lyon is the only person that can give PDP a tough time in the election.

These were his words

‘’In Bayelsa, David Lyon will not win APC primaries. If they give it to Sylva, APC will lose and PDP will retain the seat. It is only David Lyon that can give Diri a very tough time. If Lyon doesn’t get it, Diri will win at the end of the day’’

The ticket was given to Sylva and in just one month before the election, He was disqualified from participating in the election. This simply means the coast is clear for PDP’s Diri to retain his seat just as the man of God foretold.

Pending the result of the judgment appeal, can we say that Primate Ayodele’s prophecy is coming to pass already?
