As Muslims across the world celebrating the Eid-kabir festival today, Friday, the chairmanship candidate in Apapa-Iganmu LCDA, Hon Wale Jimoh famously known as Alfa Wale or Olugbani has congratulates the Muslims, especially in Apapa-Iganmu and world at large, as the joyous moment progresses today
In his words, Hon Wale said ‘Eid Al- Adha , a significant Islamic holiday, in commemorating prophet Ibrahim’s devotion and willingness to sacrifice,
Eid Al- Adha serves as a reminder of faith, sacrifice, and the importance of community, offering Muslims an opportunity to reflect on the values and share in the joy of the occasion.
According to Quran 37 : 102 – “And when he reached with him(the age of) exertion, he said, ‘o my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice you .’ He said, ‘ O my father ,Do as you are commanded”.
“Eid is a time to reflect, rejoice, and renew our devotion to Allah, Let the spirit of sacrifice and faith guide Us.”
“Eid Al- Adha also remind us that true devotion means giving without hesitation and trusting without question. “
