TUNDE OLAOGUN BECOMES TAYESE OF OLUWO, IJU OGUNDIMU

It is with great honour, humility and of course excitement that socialite turned politician, Tunde Olaogun announced his conferment as the Tayese of Oluwo, Iju-Ogundimu, Lagos recently during a chat with The Message International. This prestigious traditional title, according to Olaogun, is a testament to his outstanding contributions, dedication, and commitment to the development of the community.

The traditional council, we learnt, in recognition of Olaogun’s relentless efforts and selfless service, has deemed him worthy of this esteemed title. The conferment ceremony, which promises to be a grand celebration of culture and tradition, is scheduled to take place in April 2025 in Lagos, Nigeria.

 

Although, the exact date of the ceremony is yet to be confirmed, it is expected to attract dignitaries, friends, family and well-wishers from far and wide.

 

The event will surely be a momentous occasion, marking a significant milestone in the life of Olaogun and the community at large.

 

Olaogun has expressed his profound gratitude to the traditional council for this honour, pledging to continue serving the community with dedication and humility.

“I feel honoured, and I’m sincerely appreciative for this prestigious title conferred on me by the traditional council of Iju Ogundimu. I see it as a challenge to be more involved in the further development of the community,” he stated.
