The new titled chief while addressing the press on Thursday at Oranmiyan temple said he was highly delighted about the honor, even though it did not came to him as a surprise since it has been foretold even some of his friends claimed the historic title is long overdue.
”I am so happy with the warm reception i witness in Ile Ife and am honoured with the title ‘Agbakin Bashorun of Yoruba land’ bestowed on me by his Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi. It shows that Yoruba people place high value on their customs and traditions.
”I want to assure his Imperial Majesty that he will never regret giving me this historic title and i also promise to use everything within my power like Bashorun Ogunmola to defend yoruba land.
