The administration of the Executive Chairman of Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐡 𝐎𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐮, has continued to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to improving the welfare and educational development of pupils through the successful implementation of the Renewed Hope School Feeding Programme (PBAT FEEDS Initiative).⁣⁣

The Day 3 distribution exercise, held at Metropolitan Nursery and Primary School, Sari-Iganmu, recorded another remarkable success, reinforcing the administration’s dedication to promoting quality education, improving child nutrition, and enhancing learning outcomes across the council area.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

Representing the Executive Chairman at the event was the Supervisor for Education, Hon. Adejumo Akinoluwa, who commended the seamless coordination of the exercise and reaffirmed the council’s commitment to initiatives that directly impact the lives of schoolchildren.⁣⁣

Speaking during the event, Hon. Adejumo Akinoluwa expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Government and Conference 57 for championing the initiative across the state. He described the school feeding programme as a strategic investment in the future of Nigerian children, noting that access to nutritious meals will not only improve classroom concentration and academic performance but also reduce the financial burden on parents.⁣⁣

The exercise was further strengthened by the presence of the National Coordinator represented by Mrs 𝐊𝐀𝐅𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐓 𝐎𝐉𝐎𝐑𝐀, the Head of Department (HOD) of Education, and the school’s Head Teacher, whose collaborative efforts ensured the smooth and efficient distribution of meals to the pupils.⁣⁣

Also present to support the initiative and interact with the children were the Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐪, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐲𝐢𝐧 (𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐲), alongside other notable community stakeholders who applauded the programme’s positive impact on education and child welfare.⁣⁣

The Executive Chairman’s administration remains fully aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly the vision of ensuring that no child attends school on an empty stomach. Through sustained investments in education and social intervention programmes, the council continues to create an enabling environment where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and excel.⁣⁣
