Labour Party Candidate for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Hon. Tolulope Olufikayo Philips, has urged the people of Ogun State especially the Christians to use the yuletide period to pray to God direction for a peaceful election in 2023.
Philip, who disclosed this in a statement in Abeokuta, the state capital, for the new year message, asked the constituents and entire Nigerians to use the festive period to pray to God for a better leadership that would steer the affairs of the county in the next four years
He charged the people not to bite more than what they could chew in during the period and show love and care to their fellow Nigerians because God is love, assuring that the country would survive her current woes.
The House of Representative candidate appealed to the constituents to vote for him in the next election, stressing that he would not to betray their trust and fulfil his promise to them if elected
He said’ I greet all of you in Abeokuta South, and the people of Ogun State, for the celebration of this festive period. I want you all to use the opportunity of this celebration period to pray to God for a peaceful election and better leadership in 2023″
