Today, with hearts filled with gratitude to God Almighty, we celebrate a rare gem, a devoted Christian father, a disciplinarian of great value, and a pillar of strength to his family and the church, Pa Theophilus Olayiwola Amodu JP, Baba Ijo of The African Church Agbado Archdeaconary, St. Paul’s Parish, Agbado, as he clocks 86 glorious years on earth.
Daddy, your life has been a shining example of honour, sacrifice, discipline, and unwavering love. You are not just a father by name, but a true guardian whose footsteps have guided generations.
From our childhood days, you carried the burdens and responsibilities of your children with uncommon dedication, ensuring that we lacked nothing morally, spiritually, and educationally.
Your strictness was never out of hatred, but out of genuine love and the desire to raise responsible children who would become meaningful members of society. Today, we proudly stand as beneficiaries of your labour, prayers, and sacrifices. The values of integrity, hard work, honesty, and fear of God which you instilled in us remain the solid foundation upon which our lives are built.
