A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) and Ondo North Senatorial Aspirant at the just concluded APC party primaries, Chief Dr Alex Ajipe has praised Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for investing massively in the development of a new security architecture, which has improve the security of lives and property across the state.
Ajipe in a statement by his Media Aide Solomon Adewoye also thanked the governor, for his selflessness and sincerity of purpose in managing the affairs of the state since the assumption of office in 2016.
His success in securing the lives and properties of the good people of Ondo state according to Ajipe, especially the arrests of criminals who Attacks Owo in June this year has won the governor massive praises and applause from Nigerians.
He added that so far, Arakunrin Akeredolu has performed his job as the Chief Security Officer of Ondo state creditably well.
The APC chieftain said rather than score Akeredolu low in the area of insecurity, the people of Ondo state are grateful to him for all that he has done so far, especially the massive infrastructural development in the state.
Ajipe said the recent arrests of five suspected attackers of St Francis Catholic Church, Owo which left 40 people dead by the military is a testament to governor Akeredolu’s efforts in securing the state and his promised then to the people of Ondo State to do everything humanly possible to get the criminals arrested and also to strengthen the capacity of our security agencies to be able to anticipate, prevent and combat criminals in the state
“We must appreciate Mr governor for what he us doing in securing our state. The governor has placed the interest of Ondo state above other considerations by investing in the security of lives and property. I remember the governor vowed to get those criminals arrested and today we received the good news that some of them have been arrested”
“The recent distribution of 50 fitted patrol vehicles to all the security agencies in the state towards boosting the capacity of our security men in the line of duty of crime fighting so that our people can go about their businesses and livelihood without fear of molestation or attack shows that we have a governor who cares about his people”
“If Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu wasn’t governor, the security condition of this state could have been worse but because we have a governor who cares about his people, he makes the security of his people a priority by creating AMOTEKUN, and today, we can all sleep with our eyes closed and live peacefully in the state. Ajipe said
Ajipe also thanks all the security agencies in the state for their efforts in curbing criminal activities in the state
