AMBO Visits Slain Loyalist’s Family, Offers Lifelong Scholarship to Infant, Jobs for Widow

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has visited the family of a party loyalist who d!ed in a recent accident in Ede, pledging long-term support for those affected.

Oyebamiji announced a full academic scholarship from primary school to university level for the seven-month-old baby of the deceased, Ahmed Abdulrazak.

He also disclosed that arrangements have been made to secure permanent employment for the late loyalist’s wife and another family member.

The fatal incident occurred on June 23, when a trailer reportedly rammed into APC members during a peaceful canvassers’ inauguration in Ede North Local Government Area.

The accident claimed Abdulrazak’s life and left several others injured.

During a condolence visit to the bereaved family and other victims across Owode-Ede and Ede, Oyebamiji, represented by his wife, Dr. Sekinah Bola-Oyebamiji said the gesture was aimed at offering both emotional and practical support.

“We have already taken care of the hospital bills, but this visit goes beyond financial assistance. It is about standing with the families and reminding them they are not alone in this difficult time,” she said.

Oyebamiji added that the visit was part of efforts to personally commiserate with the affected families and pray for their strength.

He expressed hope that God would grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss, while wishing the injured victims a speedy recovery.

The APC candidate reiterated his commitment to honoring the memory of the deceased through sustained support for his family.
