Omotunde Adeshina aka Dharmendra has been elected as the Governor of Lagos State Chapter of the Fuji Musician Association of Nigeria (FUMAN)
Adeshina was elected unopposed at an election held on Friday, 18,March 2022 at Badewa Hotel ,Ketu , Lagos State and conducted by representatives of the National body namely Wasiu Iyanda Semila ,Alhaji Nurudeen oIyanda Fasta Fosto,Teddy Obafemi Edward,and Moshood Ayinde Tadico.
Other members of Dharmendra exco were unopposed except the position of the First Vice Governor which was between Sadeeq Akanbi aka Sodikoko and Alhaji Sulaiman Ajani aka father Zico .
At the end of a keenly contested election Sodikoko scored 78 votes against Father Zico had 28.
The election was witnessed by the National President of the Union ,Alhaji SK Sensation, Veteran Fuji Musician namely Alhaji Love Azeez , Alhaji Waheed Akangbe ,Adewale Fuji Konta , outgoing Governor,Alhaji Quadri Aremu Olawale Sakadeli aka Mr.Landlord ,Wale Tekoma,Orji Jewelry,Wasiu Haruna Ishola ,Alhaji Adeyinka Ishola aka Zico Wonder and others.
