The ancient town of Emuren Remo, Ogun State, was set agog at the iwuye celebration of High Chief Priest Bilahu Kehinde Mabaorisamije held amidst fun and joy. The whole town stood still for the iwuye ceremony.
The iwuye ceremony of Araba Emuren started on 10th March 2022 at Araba Compound, Hospital road, while the iwuye ceremony of Odofin held at Elemuren palace on 12th March, 2022.
It was a great day for High Chief Bilahu Kehinde as he holds two chieftancy titles in the town
High Chief Kehinde Bilahu Mabaorisamije was installed as Araba of Emuren 13 years ago while he became Odofin of Emuren over a year ago.
We gathered that he was honoured as Odofin of Emuren due to his immense contribution to the development of the ancient town. Interesting, Odofin is a number four position in chieftancy role in Emuren.
