My name is Mrs Akinpelu Mariam, (39years old, mother of 3). I was diagnosed with Kidney failure last December at the University Teaching Hospital Ibadan and since then i’ve started the weekly renal dialysis which costs about N90,000 every week, sometimes twice a week. My husband and the family have been rallying around for the funds so the treatment could continue. My husband’s business has ran down due to this. For a month now these assistances have ceased and my condition is becoming worse, enquiries about going for a transplant stated that we’ll need around N25m for a transplant abroad.
