Director-General of the Christian Support Group, CSG, has urged all the christian and other Nigerians not to see Tinubu as a Muslim, who would work against their interests. Rather, she enjoined Christians to see him more as a Christian for several reasons.
She stated this during the physical /Zoom general meeting of the National executives, Directors and State Cordinators of the Christian Support Group, held at Okota, Lagos State.
She said that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have contribute to Christiandom, and
his attitudes to Christians and Christianity.
She also said ‘’ I want remind Nigerians that Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the APC candidate and their children are Christians. He also building of Churches in the Government House which is still being used till today by all other governors that have emerged after him in Lagos State’’.
Evangelist Hon. Remilekun Adeniji added that ‘’ The main reasons for the group which are to sensitise and mobilise Christians to participate actively in partisan politics. The days when Christians saw politics as a dirty game are gone. Due to our docility, politically, members of other faith have taken over for their own advantages. And it is time for Christians to wake up from their deep slumbers. Time for action is now and henceforth’’.
‘’Secondly, CSG was established to ensure that Christians are concerned about and participate in the good governance of Nigeria. Hence, the decision to massively and totally support Tinubu/Shettima joint ticket. I am looking forward to the time when the president, governors, senators and other political office holders will emerge from the fold of Christian Support Group’’
