Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK), has celebrated media personality and celebrity journalist, Dayo Badmus, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, describing him as a loyal friend, media strategist and influential voice in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
In a goodwill message released on Wednesday, AKK praised Badmus for his professionalism, dedication and unwavering support for his political aspiration and media engagements.
According to him, “Seeing you transition from a brilliant young mind into a formidable force in the Nigerian media space has been one of the great joys of my own journey. Your loyalty is not just a trait; it is a fortress, and I am honoured to call you my brother.”
The Oyo governorship hopeful also commended Badmus for his role in promoting the “Realistic Tomorrow” vision, saying the veteran journalist handled the project with uncommon passion and commitment.
“You have handled the media and publicity architecture of our ‘Realistic Tomorrow’ vision as if it were your own personal project,” AKK said.
He further described Badmus’ installation as the Baaroyin of Orile-Ifo Kingdom as a well-deserved honour and recognition of his decades of excellence in journalism and entertainment reporting.
AKK also congratulated him on the launch of his book, The 25 Laws of Fame, noting that the publication would serve as a guide for young creatives and entertainment professionals seeking lasting relevance and success in the industry.
