The much anticipated commissioning of the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Ultramodern Primary Healthcare Center by the Governor of Lagos State finally arrived, and you could be rest assured that the administration of Engr. Dr. Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh did not spare rolling out the drums to celebrate in pomp and pageantry.
The Executive Chairman in his speech narrated the vision behind the construction of the ultramodern PHC as a result of the overstretched services of the existing PHC. Its challenges and eventual actualization. The Council Chairman explained that when commissioned, the PHC would be open for public use to function as a mini-general hospital
He also went ahead to commend the Governor for finding time out of his busy schedule to be at the meeting. According to him his presence was historic because he is the first sitting governor to commission a project in Amuwo-Odofin. Also the mayor listed the several fatherly role played by the Governor at critical times of the government, which includes quick response during the Abule-Ado explosion saga and food palliative during the lock down.
When it was time for the special guest of honour, Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu to deliver his speech, he started by preaching the gospel of peace and unity amongst members of the APC in Amuwo-Odofin, then went ahead to reel out the achievement of his administration in the axis, to include Mumini Adio road, etc.
The Governor also promised that the portion of the Apapa- Badagry Expressway would be completed before the end of the year and also the blue rail will commence operations Also before the end of the year.
The Governor then went to commission the ultramodern PHC in company of the Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadiri Hamzat and other dignitaries from across the State.
