Tragic Incident in Adamawa: Police Hunt Four Suspects Over Death of Tea Seller in Yola


Life can be so cruel! Four men are reportedly being sought by the Adamawa State Police Command over the death of a young man who worked as a tea seller in Yola.
The incident reportedly occurred in the Nassarawo Borehole area of Jimeta, Yola.
According to the report, a relative of the deceased, Aliyu Idris, went to the Doubeli Police Station to report the incident. Following the report, police officers proceeded to the scene at Banga, where they found the victim unconscious and unresponsive.
The man was immediately taken to a hospital for emergency medical attention. However, doctors reportedly confirmed that he had already died. His body was subsequently deposited at a mortuary for examination to help authorities determine the exact cause of death.
The police said the four suspects fled the scene. Officers have since launched a search for them and are working with other police units to track down their whereabouts.
The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Umar Hassan, has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of investigations to treat the case as a matter of priority and ensure that a thorough investigation is conducted.
The police said anyone found to have been involved in the man’s death would be made to face the full force of the law.
