A strong member of All Progressives Congress, Amb Yahaya Seriki has declared his intention to run for Kwara Central Senatorial seat ahead of 2023 general elections.
He declared his intention to represent Kwara Central Senatorial district in 10th senate while fielding questions from journalists at Ilorin International Airport on Wednesday.
The enterpreneur and APC governorship aspirant in 2019 election who was received by large crowd, said he is ready to offer quality representation to the people of four local government areas in the district.
He later moved in motorcade with his supporters to APC Ilorin East Secretariat, Gambari and the State Party Secretariat to submit his ‘letter of intent’.
In his words he said: “This is a clarion call from the Good people of Kwara Central, which I will never turn down.
I’m overwhelmed with the love shown to me, I will never forget today”
Seriki served as Director General AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq Campaign Organization for Kwara Central during 2019 general elections. He enjoys wide followership across party lines, especially among the youth community.
Dignitaries on accompanied Seriki to the party Secretariats including the Senior Special Assistant to Kwara State Governor, Comrade Musbau Esinrogunjo, TIC Chairman Ilorin East, Hajia Gambari, KWARMA boss, Kale Oloje and party stakeholders across Kwara Central.
